Paul, I heard you on NPR this morning. I was particularly interested in your comments about the spiritual dimensions of raising animals for slaughter. My partner and I are very interested in organic and sustainable farming techniques. We recently purchased a small rural property in Washington and would be interested in visiting your farm and learning about any references you may have about raising and integrating free range poultry in a small farm setting. We currently have a free range flock of about 20 hens in Oakland hills (of all places), and they will be coming with us to WA. Any ideas or suggestions about source material would be sincerely appreciated.
